Welcome to the GwinnettBusinessNetwork. GBN is a local networking group, and many of our members have been a part of this group for years. GBN is a business networking group that strives to connect business owners with each other, for the purpose of passing business to each other. Members must adhere to good business practices to ensure a high professional standard, and they must commit to look for business for their fellow group members.

The Gwinnett Business Network is located in Gwinnett, Georgia, and is central to Duluth, John’s Creek, Alpharetta, Lawrenceville, and Norcross.

FAQ

Does it cost to join The Gwinnett Business Network? If so, how much?

Annual membership is $399.00 payable by check or $405.00 payable via Zelle (treasurer@gwinnettbusinessnetwork.com). Most new members recover their membership investment cost very quickly.

What is a Referral? How does it differ from a lead?

Referrals are connections from another business owner where the prospect business has already been discussed. A lead is someone saying, “Call this person. They need your services.” A referral is where another group member gives you the person’s contact information and where they have ALREADY contacted the prospective client and prepared them for your call or visit.

How do I join?

Membership is by application only. The application can be downloaded here or by visiting the Join page.

What is a “quick pitch” presentation?

Each member has the opportunity to do a weekly 60-second presentation to The Gwinnett Business Network. It lets the group know what you do and what a good referral looks like for your business.

Are there attendance requirements?

Yes. The Gwinnett Business Network requires that members themselves be present at the weekly meetings. Substitutes are permitted to take your place on occasion.
